Am I a Good Candidate for a Thigh Lift in Milwaukee?
There are both functional and aesthetic benefits to a thigh lift procedure. Some of the benefits you may experience include:
- Long lasting contour change, due to the removal of excess skin and fat
- Improved ability to maintain hygiene
- Improved ability to exercise
- Reduced chafing/rubbing of thigh area
During your consultation Dr. Bosbous will take the time to listen to your concerns, explain in detail what you can expect after your surgery and help set realistic expectations regarding your result.
Thigh Lift Procedure
Your thigh lift procedure will take place in an accredited surgical center or hospital, and is typically performed as an outpatient procedure. You may require a brief hospital stay if combining thigh lift with other body contouring procedures. In most cases the surgery requires an incision from the upper inner thigh to just above the knee area. Occasionally a curved incision in the upper inner thigh can be used, but this depends on the amount of tissue needing to be excised and the skin quality of the area. Liposuction may be used in addition to directly removing the excess fat and skin. Your inner thigh muscles will not be affected by the procedure.
Thigh Lift Recovery and Results
Dr. Bosbous takes every measure to help minimize and conceal scarring for his patients. You will be placed in a compression garment following surgery to aid with the healing process and reduce swelling. Most patients return to work and light activity in 7-10 days and will resume exercise and vigorous activity in 3-4 weeks after being cleared by Dr. Bosbous.
